TMC’s Remedy Ends The Debate Once And For All
St. Petersburg, FL- Over the past several months Derby Lane Greyhound , in St Petersburg FL, has been the scene to one of the great greyhound rivalries of recent time as TMC’s Remedy and Flying Coal City have hooked up in a historic back and forth battle to determine who is really the best middle distance greyhound racing there .
Flying Coal City has been more than up to challenge and had many singing his praises as the top dog at Derby Lane. This past Wednesday Coal City came from behind in the semifinal round of the Derby to catch Remedy at the wire for a dead heat win, setting up a classic Derby final to be run on Saturday night. Many believed, including yours truly, that Coal City was at the top of his game and Remedy was heading in the wrong direction and his final race before retirement would prove to be swan song that was off key.
Well, Remedy proved all the naysayers wrong and left no doubt who the top greyhound was. In an overpowering display of racing ability, Remedy chased down Coal City from six lengths back and rolled away to an easy victory. Normally after the way these two hounds have performed the crowd would be clamoring for a match race but not this time. There will be no rematch because there is no need; we now all know who the champ is, none other than the great TMC’s Remedy.
