I have been often told that until greyhound puppies fully develop it is near impossible to predict which one of the littler is going to be the “Pick of the Litter”. However it appears that someone had a good hunch when it became time to name the red male from the HK’s Phenomenon and Whistler’s Miss mating and they accurately gave that pup the name of Its a Phenomenon.

This aptly name pup has lived up to his name since breaking in at the Palm Beach oval in June of this year. Within a month of scoring his maiden win Its a Phenomenon was knocking off grade A wins with regularity.

After his win Monday afternoon (October 25th Race 15) Its a Phenomenon is sitting on a record of 20 starts and 14 wins 3 seconds and fourth. On September 18 a seven race win streak was halted and now Its a Phenomenon has completed three in a row and aiming for number 4. 

In August he won everyone of his races except 1 which led him right into his victory at the 

$20,000 GALLAGHER / KINNAIRD PUPPY STAKES! His personal best run time is 29.35.

Gallagher/Kinnaird Puppy Stakes Wrap Up: Tru Palm Kennels Its A Phenomenon lived up to his name Monday afternoon as he became the record-setting victor in Palm Beach Kennel Clubs 13^th running of the $20,000 Gallagher / Kinnaird Puppy Stakes. 

The pride of northwest Ohio, the Phenom flew by pacesetter Kebo Kwik Damien in the homestretch to win by more than three lengths in a 545-yard Royal Palm Course clocking of 29.74 seconds. The overwhelming fan favorite returned $3.80 to his many, many supporters.

With the Puppy Stakes victory, Its A Phenomenon became the only Greyhound in Gallagher/Kinnaird Labor Day Puppy Stakes history to win all four of his qualifying rounds and then go on to claim the championship.
