Where's Big Cash Tops List for He's My Man Classic Championship

West Palm Beach, Fl. - Marsella Racing Kennel’s Where’s Big Cash 7-race win streak came to an end Sunday afternoon at the paws of the highly-decorated veteran, Rader Racing Kennel’s Yahoo Omar, as Palm Beach Kennel Club presented semifinal action in the $50,000 He’s My Man Classic.

The battle between these two racing behemoths literally came down to the wire as Omar powered by the 2010 National Win Champion in deep stretch to win by one length in a 545-yard Royal Palm Course clocking of 29.67 seconds.

In the afternoon’s second semifinal contest, Norm Rader and company came through again as the aptly named Tuff Stuff held off his kennel mate, Custom Trent, to also win by one length in an afternoon best time of 29.42.

Rader Racing Kennel will have five representatives in Saturday’s championship final.

The eight $50,000 He’s My Man Classic finalists, in order of points earned:
55 Points: Where’s Big Cash (Lonesome Cry - CM Lil Bit, Marsella Racing)
50 Points: Custom Trent (Trent Lee - Gifted Whistler, Rader Racing)
49 Points: Tuff Stuff (Lonesome Cry - Night Breeze, Rader Racing)
41 Points: Yahoo Omar (Lonesome Cry - Pin Oak Vicki, Rader Racing)
34 Points: KB’s Clear Rock (Lonesome Cry - Cry BF Pina, Rader Racing)
33 Points: Go Bon Nice Lee (Trent Lee - Go Bon Pure Evil, Royal Racing)
32 Points: Its A Phenomenon (HK’s Phenomenon - Whistler’s Miss, Tru Palm)
29 Points: Mesa Dress Up (Oshkosh Slammer - Dress Up, Rader Racing)
The $50,000 He’s My Man Classic finalists will meet Saturday afternoon, January 22, all going for the $25,000 first-place prize.

A press conference and post position draw will be held in the track’s Terrace Restaurant Thursday afternoon, January 20, commencing at 11:45 a.m.
The $50,000 He’s My Man Classic is the first event in Palm Beach Kennel Club’s $150,000 “Big 3" Stakes series, which includes the $50,000 James W. Paul 3/8ths Mile Derby (Saturday afternoon, February 19) and the $50,000 Arthur J. Rooney, Sr. St. Patrick’s Invitational (Saturday afternoon, March 12).
The Classic is named in honor of Palm Beach Kennel Club racing legend and the track’s first multimedia sensation He’s My Man and dedicated to the man who raised and trained “Roscoe”, Bill Pappas.
Activities for this extraordinary afternoon of championship racing, fun and excitement include:
