West Palm Beach, Fl. - Rader Racing Kennel's KB's Clear Rock handily won his semifinal qualifying race Sunday afternoon and will enter the finals of Palm Beach Kennel Club's $50,000 James W. Paul 3/8ths Mile Derby as the leading point earner and probable race favorite.
"The Rock" cruised to an easy victory, winning by more than seven lengths in a speedy 660-yard Pat C Rendezvous clocking of 37.80 seconds. Through the four rounds of qualifying, he scored three wins and one fourth-place finish.
In the afternoon's other semifinal qualifier, Rader Racing earned another slot in the Derby final as Dynamic Trent came from off the pace to score an impressive win.

The 80th running of the 3/8-mile championship final will be contested Saturday afternoon, Feb. 19, and is one of the nation's longest running stake events, this year celebrating its "Oak" anniversary.
The Derby is named in honor of humanitarian, greyhound owner and dedicated supporter of greyhound adoption James W. Paul.
