JaxKennel.com - Race 7 is an A 550 race where Hs Butane looks to outlasts the fading leaders in the stretch to get back on the winning track. He has been solid with 6 efforts in a row in the money in grade A and has won twice during that span in fine fashion. He is not short late like others in this effort. GS Mia and La's Silver, but he will have to contend with the puppy that doesn't even know yet just what he can do. Penrose Jovial likes it outside and gets the 8 box for the second straight trip. If he can clear close, he could be the Budweiser longshot of the day. (5-1-8-6)
Race 11 is an A 550 race where the early speed looks to hold on late and take down the competition. The best breaker here has to be K Angel Vito, the one problem is that she has not lasted all the way to the wire in any of her last 6 races in a row. She has finished around the win, but is looking to get back on top today. Pat C Bs Hiway has finally found his groove again at Orange Park and has been running really well over the past month. He too is a breaker and will need to be in control early if he wants a shot at the wire. Both better be wary of Lorna's Cannon and Boc's Timebandit. Both greyhounds can come on with a huge rush late in the race and shrink any lead that has been thrown up in front of them. If they decide to break, either could take home the upset. (7-8-4-3)
Race 12 is a B 550 race and today is the day for Mr. Clark! Enough of running like a slug! Here he gets his best box right next to the rail, he gets no early speed around him, and he gets to start off against a grade B field. Everything is working in his favor in this race, all he has to do is chant the montra, Carpe Diem, seize the day! Trying to deny him in this effort will be the solid dropper, Fanatic Mema and Cayenne Ferrari. Both have enough talent to get it done, but both need to be close early and want to run. If none of them decide to run early, they all might be behind Legally Fast for the duration of this effort. (1-7-6-4)
Race 14 is a C 550 race where puppy power should shine over everything else. Hanks Violet has really enjoyed the rest and the proof of that has been her last couple of races. She destroyed a field in her last race and looks to get it done in back to back efforts today. She is going to have to work though as Bl Punch N Judy drew the 1 box. Forget the lines, from the red post, this greyhound takes it to a whole different level. She always breaks from here and can be tough to run down, especially during a matinee performance. If she can steal 20 early, she might just upset today. Others to contend early and ofter, Jello Shot Mike and Kiowa Rumble Roz. (2-1-7-4)
Race 15 is a B 550 race that sets up well for Sayitwasseth. This greyhound is coming back to 550 yards and gets a grade drop to boot. Over the shorter distance he is a closer and should find what has been evading him over 660 yards. He has enough late to overcome any trouble here and with no big early speed greyhound he should be too close too early not to win. Look for a big determined stretch run for the victory. Other grade A drops to threaten here, the posted up duo to the inside. Rockstar Merlin and Kiowa Boyd Bambi both have enough to win if they want to run, and let's not forget about Maja Trouble. The only kinda breaker in the field, might just be too much for this field on the front end if he can get out to the early lead today. (6-2-1-8)
