NGA News -- More auction pup updates; 2 reach Grade A

NGA News -- Two Spring Meet Auction pups, Kells Neon Flash at Palm Beach and KB's Camden at Bluffs Run, completed their rise from Maiden to Grade A in recent days.

Kells Neon Flash (Atascocita Leroy-Too Late), a $9,000 purchase by Bradford Bolton from John Dalton, captured her fifth straight race at Palm Beach on Sunday, June 19. She rushed to her customary early lead then cruised to a 3 1/2 length win in 30.29.

A runnerup finisher in a main-stake at the Spring Meet, Kells Neon Flash now has a 5-1-0 record in just 6 starts for the Steve Gilster Kennel.

KB's Camden (Team Record*-BI's Hunter), a $19,000 sale from Ken Biehle to Green Smith at the April meet in Abilene, won his fourth race in five efforts on Tuesday at Bluffs. Like Neon Flash, he charged to the front early and won easily (by 8 lengths) in 30.08, third fastest time on the program.

Camden, who ran fourth in the same Abilene main-stake final (Oct. 2) in which Kells Neon Flash competed, now has a 4-0-0 mark in 5 outings at Bluffs for the Red Rock Kennel.

SE's Goods, purchased by Green Smith from Steve Ward for $8,000 at the April event in Abilene, won her Maiden race by a length in 30.92 as the sixth race's 2.30-to-1 favorite. SE's Goods' record is now 1-3-0-1 in 5 outings.

SE's Goods, how races for Red Rock Kennel, is a daughter of Red Ranger-Ozsum Moonmist. She won the Flite 2 December 1 Stake at the Spring Meet.

Meanwhile at Palm Beach, KB's Harlingen--another Spring Meet sale ($3,500 purchase by Norm Rader and Ed Gardner Jr. from Ken Biehle) drove hard late to finish second in the Grade D eighth race. The daughter of Rhythmless-HH Lexus Lady won her two previous races (Grade J by 3 1/2 lengths and a Grade Maiden by 8 lengths). Her record now stands at 2-1-0-1 in 6 starts for the Rader Racing Kennel.

KB's Harlingen ran fourth in a Flite 1 Consolation (Aug/Sep Stakes) at the Spring Meet.
