NGA News - Profile on WW's Gucci at OPKC

NGA News -  Really is there anyone in the country hotter over 660 yards right now than Ww's Gucci (Fuzzys Cannon - Ww's Flame)? This greyhound has been on a tear since moving over to the longer course back at the start of April. So far she has not missed the money in any of her 16 starts over 660 yards, and winning is what she is doing most of the time.

Currently she has won 9 races in a row in grade A, 12 of her last 14 trips, and she has been in the quiniela in 14 straight starts. What is even more impressive is how she is winning races. From the lead, from behind, whatever she has to do to get her nose in front at the wire is exactly what she is going to do.

Quickly she is approaching rarefied air as she keeps on tallying up the totals. The might Burt Road holds the record for most in a row over 660 and that total sits at 14 straight, but Penny Candy was just off of that a couple of years ago as she strung together a run of 13 straight of her own, and both of those greyhounds were ALL-Americans!

Good luck and congratulations head out to the Wildfire Kennel, Trainer Tony Duran, Owner Julia Ward and everyone else connected with this fantastic greyhound! If she keeps up the good work, she might just have a shot to put her name up in the all time record books here at the Orange Park Kennel Club!
