#1 Best Bet at Any Dog Track by Eb Netr

#1 Best Bet at Any Dog Track

Author: Eb Netr

In over 3 decades of watching dog races, I've seen a lot of dogs. So many that it's only the ones who had something special going for them that I really remember. When I think back over the races I've watched, the dogs I respected the most were the ones who had something that almost no one talks about when they mention dog racing. But it's the absolute most important character trait for winning dogs.

For the New Fans - Eb Netr - Two Races One Lesson

Author: Eb Netr

I watched the races from Palm Beach the other day. They were all interesting, because I love watching greyhounds run. But two of the races were a good lesson in handicapping. One was an M race were there were two dogs that looked much faster than the rest. They also looked like they'd outbreak everyone else and because one was in the 8 box and one was in the 1 box, I didn't think they'd get into trouble. They didn't and they were the quiniela, although it only paid $8 and change.

This week’s featured greyhound comes to us from the Big Water Kennel trained by Sissy Sabell, Nimby Tip. After arriving here from Raynham-Taunton Greyhound Park in Massachusetts at the beginning of 2010, Nimby Tip experienced tough times getting used to the competition here at Gulf Greyhound Park. In fact, Nimby Tip used his early speed running style to try to capture victories but after his first 18 attempts, Nimby Tip was unsuccessful. All of a sudden, Nimby Tip tasted victory on the Texas Gulf Coast for the first time in a grade B race on June 25. Next time out, Nimby Tip backed up his previous effort with a box to wire victory in a grade A race on July 4.

Eb Netr - On Form

Greyhound Handicapping: Winning With Form

Author: Eb Netr

We often hear about dogs being in form or out of form, but what does this really mean? A simple explanation for form is "running well" but there's more to it than that. I think most handicappers would agree that the definition of form has to include an element
