SemiFinals - Gallagher/Kinnaird Puppy Stakes - August 29th

            West Palm Beach, Fl. - The eight finalists for the fourteenth running of Palm Beach Kennel Club’s $20,000 Gallagher / Kinnaird Puppy Stakes will be determined Monday afternoon, August 29, as the track holds its final two qualifying races leading up to the main event.
        Semifinal events will be contested in the twelfth and fourteenth races of the afternoon, with the eight highest total point earners advancing to the championship final on Monday afternoon, September 5, Labor Day.
        Following three rounds of qualifying, Pat Collins / Neola Joe Kennel’s JS Pierce leads in qualifying with two wins and a third, for a total of 36 points.
        Monday afternoon’s two semifinal races, in post position order:

Race 12

1. Atascocita Jove (Lonesome Cry - Atascocita Smile, Suncoast Kennel)
2. Magic Slash (Handball Victory - Magic Tearemup, B & B Racing)
3. Flying Selena (Kiowa Sweet Trey - Stellar Stella, Steve Gilster Kennel)
4. KB’s Hockley (Rhythmless - HH Lexus Lady, Rader Racing Kennel)
5. SE’s Rich Ronnie (Rhythmless - SE’s Sparkaheart, Steve Gilster)
6. Valle Crucisgirl (Lonesome Cry - Gratexpectations, Arthur Agganis)
7. JS Pierce (Lonesome Cry - Bizzy Babe, Pat Collins / Neola Joe Kennel)

        The $20,000 Gallagher / Kinnaird Puppy Stakes championship final will be contested Monday afternoon, September 5, Labor Day.
        Post time for the first race Monday afternoon is 1:00 p.m. with gates opening at 11:30 a.m.
        Formerly known as the Labor Day Puppy Stakes, this marks the third year of its’ new title, named in memory of two Palm Beach County legendary sportscasters, and great friends of the Palm Beach Kennel Club, Jim Gallagher and Buck Kinnaird.

Point System: 1st - 15 points, 2nd - 10, 3rd - 6, 4th - 4, 5th - 3, 6th - 2,
7th - 1, 8th - 0
